CHRISTIAN HILL HISTORIC DISTRICT
The Christian Hill Historic District includes the traditional neighborhood of Christian Hill, and also adjacent commercial areas along lower State Street. The Christian Hill neighborhood lies on the Mississippi bluffs immediately west of and adjacent to the city's central business district. The district contains over 250 structures. There are wonderful examples of Federal, Italianate, Classic Revival, and Arts and Crafts architecture throughout the district. Over 72 buildings have been evaluated as possessing special architectural and/or historical significance. Some of the more important are:
