BRUCH-GUERTLER HOUSE
Ignatz Bruch, a master stone mason from Germany, bought the rear portion of the stone house, built about 1830, and constructed the front section himself using stone from the bluff behind the house in 1852. The pointed arch windows and door lintel are quite unique. Descendents of the family lived in the house until 1969.
